The “Contest Fee” Button

We enable you to contest an expert’s session fee if you think that you received a service that was unsatisfactory. Generally speaking there are two valid reasons for contesting an expert’s invoice:

1. An expert failed to meet a deadline that was agreed upon PRIOR to being hired by you.

2. The service did not meet the requirements that were described by you BEFORE hiring the expert.

To contest an expert’s invoice, simply sign in to your LivePerson account, and click the Mailbox section of your My LivePerson menu. Under "Questions I have asked", find the "Expert’s Reply and Invoice" that you wish to contest, and click "Continue".

Now click the "View Invoice" button, and under "What's Next", click on the "Contest Fee" button. Please provide the expert with a clear explanation as to why you are contesting the fee. After contesting the fee, the expert has the option to provide further services and/or adjust the session fee. The expert can also issue a final invoice. Once you receive the final invoice, you will have seven days from the date it was issued to respond. Invoices are automatically confirmed seven days from the last exchange of communication.
