My Expert Service

I have extensive experience dealing with sexual issues in a therapeutic setting. I have extensive issues dealing with GLBTQ, cross dressing and transitioning issues as well. If you find yourself questioning your values and wondering if you are being effective with your clients, and/or how to limit the bias in your sessions to make them more effective then I can help.

Experience & Qualifications

I am an author and host of a sex education web series, currently in private practice where my focus is Psychotherapy and Sex Therapy with Individuals and couples. I have supervised several interns both in private practice and in agency settings. I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2004, with a Master of Art's degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I became Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in December 2006. I graduated from San Francisco State University in 1995 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Human Sexuality. In 1993, I began my clinical work as an Art Therapy Intern at Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute at The University of California San Francisco, where I worked with the adult patients on the locked unit dealing with issues like Schizophrenia, psychosis, and Bi-Polar/Major Deperssion. This is also where I began my work with the transgender population as well. I have worked extensively with urban youth in South Central Los Angeles, dealing with issues such as drugs, gang violence, teen pregnancies and various other issues. I have done extensive work with individuals and families affected by HIV/Aids, sexual abuse survivors, drug addiction, sex offenders and families of sex offenders. I have worked in conjunction with child protective services with foster children and families to dealing with issues of physical, emotional and sexual abused. I have also worked with Developmentally Disabled adults in a vocational setting, and Special Ed kids in a recreation setting.
