Experience & Qualifications

For over 30 years I served on staff in churches where I helped youth and adults deal with issues of dating, parenting, discipline, self esteem, death and dieing and spiritual issues. I'm a Christian and an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Church. When I stopped working in churches I earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology and for more than 15 years gained experience in Public Mental Health working with the full spectrum of mental illnesses including psychosis, depression, anxiety, anger and domestic violence. While working in the Public Mental Health system, I developed the Domestic Violence Intervention program that is currently in use in that facility. I am a charter member of the Domestic Violence Task Force in my county. Through this organization I work to raise awareness and to prevent the spread of all forms of abuse in relationships.
