Adding Expert Categories

Categories can be added during the Expert registration process, as well as later on, through the My Profiles section of your My PrestoExperts menu. To sign up under additional categories, please do the following:
  1. Make sure you are logged into your Expert account. Then click the My Profiles section of your My PrestoExperts menu.
  2. Click on the "Sign Up as an Expert in Another Category" link.
  3. Select the category and sub-category you want to register under and click on "Continue". You’ll see the information that you entered when you first registered asan Expert at PrestoExperts. You MUST edit this information so that it reflects the new category that you are registering under. Make the necessary changes in ALL the fields, including the description, degrees/credentials, experience, and the keywords that are related to your service.
    You can also adjust the fee that you will charge for services by email. However, your Live Chat and Phone session fee is common to all your Expert profiles. If you change it here, your existing profiles will also display the newly entered fee.
  4. When you are finished, make sure that your profile is free of spelling and grammatical errors.
  5. Finally, click on "Save and finish" or "Save and add another category."
We recommend choosing your categories selectively. Remember - your rank is strongly influenced by your average rating score and recieving a low rating in a category where you do not have proven Expertise will lower your overall rank, adversely affecting ALL categories that you are registered under. We advise you to stick to what you know best.
