Your Average Weighted Rating

Your average weighted rating indicates (on a scale of 1-to-5) the average of all of your approved ratings, each weighted by the final session fee. In most cases, the higher the final session fee with a client, the more weight the rating has towards your average weighted rating. However, in sessions where there is a discrepancy between the hire fee and final fee, we will take the hire fee into consideration when weighting the rating.

For example, a rating given from a client upon completion of a $100 Live Chat, Phone, or Email session will affect your average weighted rating more than a rating given from a client upon completion of a $50 Live Chat, Phone, or Email session. Another example may be that your client hired you for a $100 session and as a result of a deadline not met, the client refused to pay for the session. In this case, the $100 hire fee will be taken into consideration when weighting the rating.

Your average weighted rating affects your positioning on the category listings pages.
